Hrrpphh.. just called up to pick didi up from school cos he wasn’t feeling well..

Picked him up and he insisted on sleeping in mama’s bed. Meds in and within minutes, in deep sleep.

Am wondering what and how to handle when and if i start work. 2nd round interview coming up. So..

I hope they will be flexible enough.

No more diaper..

So insisted didi, because he wants to wear Pokemon underwear, which bbq has.

So… have to go and buy some for bb2.

Back to…

Being a mummy, partner, wife, driver, pick up service, cleaner, washer, chef, shopper, backside wiper.. and more.

It was a really nice break from all that. Only have to think of myself and my friends for the past few days. Just wake up, eat, ski and party.

And this morning..

Woke up to the boys giving me kisses.. and drawings that they have drawn for me. Lots of hearts ♥️.

Hz got bbq dressed and styled, made and ate breakfast and took him to school.

I took care of bb2 and did grocery shopping, the wash, cleaned up a bit, put all my ski stuff out to clean and dry… and now, prepping for dinner.

Need to eat lunch soon cos i am hungry.

And i am still have a cold and coughing like crazy that is driving me up the walls at night. Going into coughing fits and i can’t sleep.. waking up other pple too. In this case.. my room mate during my trip and hz now.

So we talked about how little girl groups there are on vacation. Mainly man groups. 75-80%. Rest couples and female groups.

Talked anout how much easier it is for men to go on trips, leaving women at home to look after kids. And i realised one of the girls… this is the longest time that she’s been away from her kids (now 11 and 13). Before that.. just a couple of days max. And her husband hockeys and golfs with hz. Taking yearly long weekend golf trips.

And if husband work.. not everyone can get their husbands to take leave and stay at home to look after kids while the wife goes off.

So one of the girls said that i was luckily that hz has enough leave to take to cater to my trips etc.

And i said.. while.. while the rest have their support network.. for example for this trip, arranging for childcare, grandparents, aunts (both sides) and then husbands to come home early to pick up kids and/of take leave to help with their kids, we have no one.. so.. it is a lucky/unlucky situation.

If the support was there, hz wouldn’t have to need to take leave. And if hz goes on his trips… i have minimal help too. So… And i do realise that i am in a position to enjoy such solo, child free trips and such cos of hz’s support.

So big ♥️ to him.

And now to discuss Barcelona trip with him.

Didi cried for 15mins.. then i stayed with him in his room for 20mins and left to take a shower.

He was quiet but after a while… said that he was hot.. then said that he was not sleepy, then cough and said he was sick.. so i gave some cough meds. Then he cried for his pacifier… we just reminded him that the lady as the store took it in exchange for his toy. He didn’t want his toy anymore.. 😂 then we said he opened and played with it liao…

Finally slept at 920pm. I am tired lor!
